Late Modern Astrologers

Now in the late modern era, astrology has expanded its diversity in gender, culture, and information resources. Modern astrologers have explored the humanistic and psychological aspects of astrology, as well as incorporating many ancient techniques that had been lost and found again through modern retranslations.

  • Marion March (1923-2001)

    Marion March

    A German born, American astrologer who rose to become internationally known as a lecturer and teacher. She was twice awarded the Regulus Award. With Joan McEvers she co-wrote the best selling 6 volume series The Only Way to Learn Astrology.

  • Lois M. Rodden (1928-2003)

    Lois M. Rodden

    Celebrated American astrologer, writer and data collector. The winner of the 1992 Regulus Award for enhancing astrology's image. Data collection and research were her main focus of interest, and she devised a rating system for the accuracy of the birthtimes.

  • Liz Greene (1946- )

    Liz Greene

    Charismatic lecturer and prolific writer, at the forefront of the development of Psychological Astrology. In 1976 the publication of Liz’s second book Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil immediately made Liz into a celebrity star in the astrological community.

  • Donna Cunningham (1942-2017)

    Donna Cunningham

    Donna Cunningham was an internationally respected American astrologer, writer, lecturer and counsellor. She was a regular contributor to The Mountain Astrologer and for twenty years wrote a regular advice column for Dell Horoscope.

  • Zipporah Pottenger Dobyns (1921-2003)

    Zipporah Dobyns

    Zipporah Dobyns was a popular writer on astrology, astrological counsellor and researcher into asteroids. She began to study astrology in 1956 and in 1960 was the third candidate to qualify as a professional astrologer PMAFA with the AFA.

    Louise and Bruno Huber

    Bruno Huber was a Swiss astrologer and teacher who, with his German born wife Louise, founded the Astrological-Psychology Institute in Switzerland. Their Huber Method merges astrology with Roberto Assagioli's Psychosynthesis.
